Apple harvest and apple pie
Summer is slowly coming to an end and fall is on its way – you can see this especially on the apple trees growing behind the TK-World building, which are already bearing lots of ripe fruit. Our trainees Tia, Magdalena, Majd and Florian therefore had the hard-working task of harvesting all the apples from our trees. And that’s not all: afterwards, they all baked a delicious apple pie from the fruit for their colleagues, which made for a tasty end to the week.
We are proud of our apple varieties, because they are three German apple varieties that are no longer so common in domestic gardens. They also have very special names: Biesterfelder Renette, Dülmer Rosenapfel and Freiherr von Berlepsch.
But they are one thing above all: delicious! Thanks to our trainees for harvesting and baking! 🍎
