Digital Student City
Around 300 IT companies are implementing pioneering projects here. The 20,000 or so students at Paderborn University are also generating a wealth of new and innovative ideas. In 2017, we even managed to take second place in the Germany-wide “Digital City” competition. The AStA Summer Festival is the largest university festival organized by students in Germany.
SC Paderborn
By 2014 at the latest Paderborn was also able to make a name for itself in football. SC Paderborn managed for the first time, promotion to the 1. Bundesliga.
